South Park should just call it quits. Cracks started to show around Imaginationland, and its been shit ever since. Granted, all satire is not supposed to be funny, but this show is. But now its just preachy nonsense, they take one joke and spread it wafer thin across the length of an entire season. The Simpsons started to use celebrities as a crutch and the entire episode revolved around them. South is doing the same thing with current events, and its too topical to be funny. At best its funny-esque. We need to have episodes about, well, nothing really, just the boys going around and completely misinterpreting something and that blows up in their face hilariously. Use the town as a backdrop and put some jokes in damnit. The show is beyond repair at this point, but i really wish they would go back to just being a comedy rather than being edgy topical. I really hope y'all feel the same way.

Dude I don't see you still coming up with original material after 19 seasons. this season was a little drab yes, but south park isn't about just laugh and fart jokes (that what terrance and phillip is for) its about the message, its about "I've learned something today"

^ That Anon is right. The show has been a mess for years & it's gotten overly preachy. An episode that tackles current events with enough humor & story is "Quintuplets 2000." Parker & Stone should have ended the show years ago with dignity. But I'm sure that will happen at some point since the show lately barely gets 1 million viewers. I don't think it will make it to season 23 as planned.

And you fanboys need to stop using the whole "it's not about toilet humor.. blah blah blah" as an excuse. You're only saying that you appear smarter than you really are...

Quintuplets 2000 was a terrible episode. i can't believe people can slate a satire comedy for tackling current events. that's kind of the point of the genre.

It was far from terrible. You probably just don't know anything about the Elian Gonzalez issue. Regardless of what you think of that episode, it's still better than any episode from the last 5-7 years.

nah, if anything south park peaked over the last 5 - 7 years. seasons 10 thru 13 were awsome

Nope. The first 10 years was when the show as at its best but seasons 3-8 are the golden years.

Fuck that "south park should call a quits". the simpsons is still going and that show got stupid 10 years ago. These new episodes arn't as good but still a lot better than that shit. Also what other animated series are you comparing this too? Because most the animated series suck-ass! Why don't you go write a letter or something, you dickless fart wizard.
